Nope, not yet. We've been mainly working to finish up the rental house, and only have the lathe stripped. Today we'll start stripping all the parts in the hot tank. It will take several days to process all the parts, then we can paint all the parts. Most likely won't get to start putting it all back together for another week or so. Bummer.........
There isn't much we can do about it. It takes a lot of time, but I don't have a big enough arsenal to make them go to an assisted living center. Unless it becomes an absolute necessity (being in a coma will be a requirement too), I wouldn't wish that on anyone who doesn't want to go. I know they have some nice ones, my aunt spent her last couple of years in one. Just like an apartment, but emergency care was always on site and a push button away.
Evenin Peeps! Long day here, but got the hot tank rebuilt and ready to go. Wish you guys were closer and I'd hot tank any parts you wanted. I've got to run the tank for at least three or four days anyway..........
Wow. I wish that I was closer for a lot more than the hot tank!
Funny thing, the 94 had a rod knock on start up this morning, and I was wishing my buddy Chip was still in business. He had a great dish washer type hot tank.
I need to pull the 5.0 cobra motor down and freshen it up, I think it would be better in the 94 than the kit car.(especially since the kit car is spread out in 3 sheds BEHIND the machine shop goodies)
Howdy Charlie! Ya, I think we could have some serious fun together...........lol
I've got a very nice VanNorman boring bar, and a Soux "wet grind" head bench too......
My hot tank is 300 gallons and I picked up an old stainless commercial dishwasher and we'll have it plumbed into the hot tank so we can do "small" parts without running the big tank.
