Howdy Pat! Things are good out here. Sunny and not to hot (lower 90's...), Signed the complant for the sheriff yesterday and almost finished the first house remodel. Gonna take today and tomorrow "off" to work on Mikey's 65. He picked up the chassis paint and we'll move it into the paint booth and paint it today then we can reinstall the engine/trans. One of the LLC owners is coming in today with a trailer load of material for the next house remodel, and I've got to inspect another house to see what I'll need to remodel it. Got a semi wheat truck coming in this afternoon to have a set of "air bags" replaced, they blew out yesterday and the new parts will be in after noon. Nothing much going on here............lol
Your usual slow day....LOL! Got some work done on the boat last night, hope to finish that up tonight, and get that thing for sale. The more I look at the drivers side rocker of my cab, the more I'm thinking of replacing it. It's in pretty bad shap up front. As much as I'd hate to go there, LMC has a replacement peice, that is the entire rocker section, front to back. They are the only ones that I can find that have the entire peice. 89 bucks, not too bad. But who know's who made the damn thing (probably chinese). If it's like everything else I've gotten from them, it won't fit.
Damn, wish you were closer.......... I've got a whole floor pan with rockers that I'd GIVE ya that I saved for another Oregon member, but he never showed up..........
I know. I'd would have raided your collection long ago! That's what sucks about the trucks around here. They've all been subjected to road salt, and it has just eaten the hell out of all of them. There's no way I'd do all of this work if I knew I could fine a clean cab around here. I've looked, and most of them are in worst shape.

I've never understood the whole "salt" thing. All we do out here is sand the roads. Not a problem driving and NO salt damage! I won't tell ya I have a real nice complete cab you could have for free then...............
Too many whiing a-holes here, that don't know how to drive. Wyoming didn't use salt, and I got around just fine when I lived there. People around here expect the roads to be perfectly clear in the winter. Oh, and not only do we have to pay for the salt with our taxes, but we also have to pay for the damage it does to the roads, not to mention the vehilces. Just irritating. If I could figure out a way to justify it with the wife, I'd just hook up the trailer and boogie. Trust me, I've tried!
Just think what a 40' semi full of rust free parts would be worth back there.......
Charlie mentioned something about starting something like that. With my place being so centrally located here in the Northwest it would make a great staging area for a business like that. I can buy bumpside and dentside pickups around here for several hundred to maybe 1,500 bucks for a rust free RUNNING truck.........
I've done so much to mine now, probably wouldn't be worth it to get another cab. But, I still need inner fenders, and I'd take a better bed if I found one. The one I have isn't too bad, needs a patch panel put in the floor. I cut a section out of my old bed for that.
I've got 6 beds stacked up at the shop including 2 with the built in side tool boxes, and 5 pickup box trailers..................
I've got a set of clean rust free inner fenders here for ya, just can't figure out how to get them to ya.......Steve needs to haul a trailer and make a visit back east...........lol
