Drove through Bend on the way home from fishing yesterday, can't believe the sign says "pop 80,000" I remember when you would blink and miss it..........Looks like a lot of yuppie malls and mini mansions sprung up out of nowhere!

Luckily we have Lava Butte, they have a hard time peddling their high zoot bicycles over it, not many Bend hipsters make it this far south.
