IMHO anything over 80 degrees is juts too hot to work. The last thing I want is sweat dripping in places it shouldn't be.

I love the heat, and hate the cold. Guess that's why I love living over here in the desert.........

A belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Drove #2 into his Nat Guard drill, stopped by the farm and made it back home.

Weather good here, not windy like it was yesterday.

Morning Rob, and Jim. Just got back from the base. The Hams had a great time, and are tearing everything down so they can go home. These guys even brought me a brand new digital caliper as a gift! They said they may want to come back in June for another contest. Just getting ready to watch the race, if it doesn't get rained out. Hope not, Talladega is one of the best tracks!

Morning Rob. The ones you saw were most likely working the contest also. The contest was for mostly North America, and had thousands from all over the country working. They weren't part of this club tho......

Saw it.

I got "sidetracked" by an article and some pics on the Portland Naked Bike Ride. Thought we had a law in Oregon for Disorderly Conduct and Being Fugly in Public.

OK, just to make it more complex than you wanted it to be....

Don't forget the needle bearings, too.

That makes it a bigger job, by a bunch, but really should be done every 60K.

You might want to make it an all-day job, and lube the hub locks, too.

Morning Pop. I only put about 10k > a year on my truck. I'm sure the needle bearings are good to go. I lubed the auto hubs, stub axle spline etc. it's my annual spring once over, service and inspection. The only things I have left are washing my K&N air filter and re-oiling and changing the fuel filter. Just not today.

The old girl needs a bath though. Maybe today.
