Disregard the last update! I have researched and researched (YES i actually do use the search bar! )
I have since realized its go big or go home. SO on saturday afternoon ill be picking up a D60 Rear out of a 77 and going to be doing a complete overhaul.
^ 2 Tons in the back of the ole' Ford. Not as much sag as i suspected
^ I threw on my freshly powder coated push bar, a Browing Plate and some KC lites
^ and finally my newly obtained Dana 60 rear. Its on jacks in my garage and it will be my project for a lonngg time. Disk conversion, Eaton E-Locker, 4.56 Gears, Chromolly Shafts, new everything.
Yep! Im working on it now. Im going to do a D60 F/R. I have the Dana 60 Rear now ^(pic above) and im going to build that up first. Disk brakes, chromolly shafts, 4.56, Eatons E-Locker, and rebuild kits.
Then ill search around for a D60 front and do it all over ! lol
Just installed a new radio! Its pretty sweet.... It is a single din flip out, so its a 9.3" touch screen with DVD, Bluetooth, CD, GPS,IPOD, USB,AUX, Backup camera, and WIFI. Its amazing. And it actually works!
However, i had to redo all the wiring connections, and didnt use ANY of the harnesses in the dash. MAJOR PITA.
