Looks like you'll be looking at a lot of sagebrush, Steve!
Good luck out there!

Yes, we will
Going out 40 instead of 10, even though it's a few more miles that way. Better options for accommodations, methinks. Gallup tomorrow night, Wichita Falls Thursday, Waxahatchie for the weekend.

From Reseda to Arlington, there's no more than ten miles difference going I-10/20, and I-40/US-287. YMMV, however, from LGB.
Just before Gallup, there's a small town called Chambers, AZ. DON'T stay there! We did. It's weird!

Anyone know what material 99-04 wheels are made of? Wondering their scrap value.

Steel or aluminum, obviously. Are you wondering about the specific alloy?

I think aluminum wheels are usually 6061 alloy. Steel wheels are just carbon steel, like a 101x alloy. On the low carbon side to ease stamp forming and rolling.

At any rate, if they're not wasted I would think they could be sold for above scrap.

So that means, what...a little under 20 bucks a wheel?

Could do better on CL? Just depends on how bad they look.

They "look" fine but I wasn't sure about selling them knowing one has damage.
