I gotta pay about $19 for the MC FL2016 there, but that's a good deal too. Just changed my oil this afternoon.

Been driving the red truck about 800 miles a week for the past two months. Fuel prices suck!

I'm pushing them to 5 or 6 weeks as it's mostly highway driving, and only light towing, and I don't have time to change it every month. LOL

Next time you're up that way, stop on by. Its a done deal.

Cool. If you need another pair of hands one of these weekends let me know, I'll be happy to run up and help out, otherwise we'll look at coming up some time this fall/winter.

Blech. You REALLY should have enlarged the word "Warning" as an emphasis.

I should be in downtown on Friday if you are working that day, and, depending on timing, may be able to meet up for lunch.

Here is an update to my confusing life:

I had an interview with a Van Nuys based ambulance company "Ambulife" on Monday, and "Bowers Ambulance" yesterday.

I heard back from Ambulife today and they confirmed their insurance would cover me and offered me a position. I am kind of taking a gamble here because I told him I would let him know my decision in about a week. He was not thrilled.

I am waiting to hear back from Bowers because Ambulife has a terrible reputation and is sketch-to-the-max. Bowers has excellent management and a great reputation.

My interview with Bowers went very well, and they hinted at me having a strong likely hood of gaining employment with them. I am keeping my fingers crossed because a job with Bowers would jump start my career. Cant wait

If I do get the job at Bowers I will be relocating to either the San Fernando Valley or Long Beach.

Thanks - LA downtown to Santa Paula is a bit far to commute.

I just discovered an Italian deli tucked away in LA downtown that I was going to show you. The deli seems to be a secret for the local LADWP, Sherriff's Dept, and District Attorney's office employees. If you like pastrami, it's pretty darn good and one sandwich feeds me for two days.

P.S. - don't tell my wife.

Still in St Louis this week and watching the game tonight. Still can't get my pea brain around it... livin' in the past.

I remember (here we go ) being awe-struck at meeting Jack Snow. My dad was doing the foundation work for a room addition at his house in Seal Beach. He gave me an autographed glossy pic and I thought that was the greatest thing ever. J.T. was just a baby, so it must have been the late 60's.

Dad was pretty smart...he knew how to get me off the couch to go do some digging.

Funny how Dad's get smarter as the years pass.

Jack Snow... reminds me of an old, forgetable movie...

Does anyone know where I can get some biodiesel? Not talking from the pump, but the home brew stuff. Trying to get ahead of the curve before this fuel price thing gets out of hand (as if it wasnt already).

I know of the LA BioDiesel Coop, but they are only a few cents cheaper than pump prices because they dont make it they buy it. They are more about the renewable aspect rather than saving money.
