Joe, why did you even start this thread? Sounds like a private matter. You know the reasons. So why call it out to everyone? Like I said before sounds like you skipped some communication classes in college...lol....

This is spiralling.... Joe vented, moderator vented, and we vented. The original question was more about our sigs containing links to non-supporting sites and I am the biggest offender here. If there is no more feedback on that premise, I'd like to offer up Joe has been sufficienlty informed of our opinions and move on. If anybody has an issue with foreign links in signatures... please speak up!

Can't We All Just Get Along !!! This tread is starting to sound like one of them reality shows my wife watchs with all the stupid housewives.

Joe I understand your point of view but I also can see why management is getting tired of all the negativity. Like someone else has said here FTE is not like the OTHER forums with mean people. This is a happy place with nice friendly people. And I understand you are just being true to yourself and I can respect that and I must say at first I thought you were just a D**k but you have grown on me and others since you are trying to help others out. And thank you for that.
But please try to lighten up on bad wrapping others and I think management will lighten up on you.

He is what he is and you either like him or you dont. Accept him for who he is. Now for having a link in sig, well were all guilty for posting links. So if you dont like his then they must not like ours when we post it. So ban us all or ban nobody. I see amazon, ebay and many other non sponsors being posted daily not by just us but by moderators also.

There was one thread about 3 weeks ago where there was name calling but not one moderator stepped in and said nothing and I believe name calling is not allowed. So whats worse having a link in your sig to a non sponsor or name calling? Ill go with the second one. I think this thread should be closed.

If you see something like that please report the post Rob. There are lots of things that I miss due to time constraints and all of your help is greatly appreciated in keeping the forum to be what it is, top notch and a step above all of the other ones out there.

Please, what Jim stated above, it helps.

I don't have mod powers here but every-so-often I'll come across something Scott and Jim need to be made aware of so I'll use the Report Post feature.

We have a really good forum here that self-polices itself very well, but don't hesitate to use the Report Post function if it's needed.

The moderation team as a whole tries to help each other out. But even as a group we'll miss stuff, so we depend on users to help us keep up on stuff.

Stewart

It is my understanding that the core reason for this forum even existing is to bring lots of people's individual expierence together in one place. If this means that some people love one certain item or vendor and others do not then this information is just as valuable to the forum as any. (as long as it is done constructivly and not in a mean spirited way) While I will agree that Joe can be abrasive at times that is just his style and that's fine with me. We are all here for the same thing, to help our each other however we can.

Tim is not the moderator that has issues with me...

I consider Tim a friend, and am sorry I pushed him into the proverbial corner. It was not my intention.

To whom ever...

Would this link be an issue?

...let's all just get along.

This is how venting usually looks.
