In the link I provided (post #28) you can see pics of the original filter and the 08+ filter.

You can see the fine mesh screen in the original filter if you expand the image 50% or so.

On this 08 pan with internal filter..... Where does the filter mount? On the pan itself or on the transmission? Do you have to do a modification to the rock stopping filter or does it stay where it is?

It looks like it pops right into place like the older screen filter setup. I can only assume this from the pics on the link provided

No bolt visible, oring @ the inlet Im pretty sure its an accurate assumption.....but hey who am I right?
