Double checked ICV and it is exactly as it was on the sheet you faxed me... so it really is getting no voltage, period. Wonder if maybe the plug came out???
For what it's worth, I had the same code, cleaned the plug and no more problems. I was experiencing an occasional surging at idle. My sensor may be going bad, but for now it seems like a dirty or loose connection.
So the plot thickens... today I'm driving into town... highway speeds 70ish. Suddenly I get an extra boost of power, I look down, and the ICPV sensor is showing voltage... checked the voltages against the norms and all my voltages are running a bit low; also, all my pressures are running quite a bit high. ICPV showed voltage for the rest of the day until just a few minutes ago, now it's back to 0.
Being that ICp and ICPV come from same sensor they should be Low together or High together one would think anyway Maybe Cheezit or Mike might know something about this
ICPV should be at .15-.24volt at KOEO
You can unplug the sensor and it should smooth the truck out
and if its Blown Oil threw the sensor its definatly Bad
Last one I got was from International Dealer for 120.00IIRC it took them a day to have it shipped to them Ford was 160.00+ for ICP
I followed Williams writeup in the Tech Folder and got it out Left Turbo In
and IIRC you need a 1 1/16inch socket Deep
Oh 1 more thing I didnt change pigtail However it was oil soaKED SO I cleaned it up with Carb Cleaner
But if you find your is so oil soaked that the wire insulation is Bubbled up then would be wise to change pigtail but if only alittle bit oil cleaning might be fine too
Ok, so went into town on thursday... On the way in suddenly my voltage kicked back on to the ICP. At that point the truck seemed to go into high idle... Coming to red lights it was shifting really hard and just slamming gears... So I left it at my shop to have them do my sensor and plug for me... They want $400 which I think is gonna shaft me, but unfortunately I just don't have time to do it myself right now... Hopefully this will fix it for good.
