Well I saw this earlier, but can't really post.

Do a YouTube search ... "entering xgauges f350 " it might ease your mind on entering them.

It's a beautiful evening driving along the Columbia River.

Mm 146. West bound.

Ya critter got it, I was on another thread picking ITexasTIec's brain about coolers. So any way the gauge I mentioned earlier fwt'* in the scangauge already is your engine coolant temperature. Engine oil temperature is an X - gauge you have to enter yourself. Always monitor these two gauges while you are driving, your DELTA ( or temperature difference between the two should not exceed 15*. A low delta = a healthy oil cooler, a high delta = a plugged up oil cooler. Causing a fractured egr' cooler, causing coolant entering the combustion chamber, causing your heads to lift off the deck, causing stretched head bolts and blown head gaskets, causing you to spend 5 or 6 K, causing you to hate the 6.0L . Don't hate the 6.0L watch your temps.

Eh, my weekend off didn't materialize..... I'm gonna try and take a few hours in the morning to do it. What are the four most useful gauges to monitor on a regular basis while driving?

My ICP Went bad awhile back I never got the P2285 till I upluged the ICP Sensor and tried to start

After I changed ICP the SGII or Innova code reader I had wouldnt erase the DTC Either

I ended up unhooking BOTH Batterys and turn on Headlights for an Hour and that got rid of the CEL

Ok, finally got my EOT, ICP, and ICV xgauges programmed... here are my numbers:

At KEOE, ICV 0.00 and ICP 0
At Crank, ICV 0.00 and ICP 1235
At Idle, ICV 0.00 and ICP 874-875
At 2k RPM, ICV 0.00 and ICP 1390

I'm guessing since the voltage never rises off of 0.00, I've either got a bad sensor or a bad plug?

Another question I had... I live four miles out a dirt road, and whenever I get behind someone I'm just sucking dust in the intake. I feel like I saw a warning somewhere to avoid the after market washable filters and to stick with the Ford stock filters... what are y'alls thoughts? I'd love to be able to just wash my filter out on a monthly basis and be done with it, but I also don't want to do something that's gonna be bad for the truck...

Dave, I don't think you have the icpv gage entered right in the scangage. Check the numbers, you only need one out of place and it won't work.
air filter: look at the front of your air intake by the radiator there is a little 1 1/2 " hose that sticks in the frame. That's all the fresh air the engine takes in all the rest is recycled from the engine! There's a filter minder on the back of the air filter, it's a clear plastic tube with lines on it, that thing works you've never seen it move because these filters are so good. If you change to an after market system don't throw away your stock system there's people on this forum who would love to have it because they bought their truck and it already had an after market air cleaner. If your talking about a oil bath air cleaner, iv's heard but don't know for a fact that your maf' sensor ( right behind the air filter will get coated with oil and you have to buy a new one. I work construction on dusty job sites and have 100,000 miles on my air filter. If your stressing about it remove it and smack it on the floor to knock some dust out ( but not necessary
