Another garage project, using mostly materials on hand. The 3/4" thick steel plate came from the scrap yard. This is my new welding table. I thought the thickness of the steel would help it stay cool, but it got hotter than I expected.
I changed a few settings on my welder and beads were much better.
I'll lay down one good bead and then the next one is utter crap.
I have a long ways to go. Laying a bead on a flat piece of aluminum is one thing. When joining two pieces I can't get a bead on both at the same time.
