Cool pics Gerry, as usual. The dude in the top pic looks like Mr Moneybags from the Monopoly game. those '50 Fairlanes keep popping up. I have pics of me as a baby on the hood out our Black & white '59 Fairlane. I don't remember anything about it but my dad used to talk about how much he loved that car. 352 V-8. Traded it for a '61 Galaxy 500 w/ a 352 and later a '63 Mercury Monterey w/ the same 352. I do remember that car because it had the back window that rolled down. Us kids would stand on the back seat and look out the back window as we rolled on down the highway. LOL... How are we still alive?

A few more pics from last week's trip. Weather was perfect and no lack of food and drink's!
Some of our old friends from over 60 yrs. We get together a few times a year and all like to camp.
Park was fairly clear mid week but gets crowded on weekends.
Large spot and not crowded. Plenty parking room for the truck.

I always thought it was a factory E code....312 CID, dual 4 bbl, hi lift cam, etc.; but after a little research I think some previous owner had swapped an E code engine into it. I don’t think Ford put any E code engines in Fairlanes. Mostly Thunderbirds and a few Custom 300’s got that engine. But it was still a fun car.
The above picture is just one I found on the net, not mine.
