Sounds like Jon was at one of my "Let's have fun and change the Oil Classes". I gave that up for Lent several years ago.
Bought a car a number of years ago and "free oil changes for life of the car" was part of the deal. Kind of got me spoiled.
I take mine into the Ford Quick Lane. They charge $101.96 here for on both the 96 SRW and the 11 DRW diesels, Lube, Oil and filter, including tire rotation on the SRW pickup. Every 3rd week or so they have a $19.95 special (well did before the current state of affairs), for the cars - up to 5 quarts of oil.

Don was the rig foreman on the 1st oil well in the Dakotas.....
Well, I was told once that I must have been rig foreman while the oil was still waliking around in dinosaur form! So you are being pretty easy on me Roy.

I've used a phillips head screwdriver with good success. Straight blade didn't work as well since the blade was wider than the shaft. A gallon milk jug (with the screw top lid intact) with the bottom cut off has worked well to capture the oil when I unscrew the filter. Then the filter drops into the jug.
My first oil change on Blue Ox is this weekend........

Good morning Andre..Gerry...Don...Roy and the rest of the crew!
Heading down to the gulf later this evening since the wife has to work until 5pm. The whole family is headed there and will be celebrating Brody's 8th birthday. Temp's should be close to 90 and little chance of rain so we'll probably be fishing or boat riding a few of those days.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend and keep in mind those who died defending our country.
