**mods, if this is not allowed, just let me know, or if it just needs to be in a different section. Thanks in advance!**

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has anything semi local to me to trade. Located in tampa florida.

ok so im just seeing whats out there, i dont need to trade but i'd like to if the right deal comes around.

2 different vehicles. i have a 2001 ford excursion with TAN leather seats, the front drivers seat being power. the 2nd row is a bench, not buckets. the 2nd and 3rd row are pretty new looking, the fronts show more use, but not ripped or anything. I don't have pics now, but i will update later today with pics of the excursion. i'd like to trade the entire set for a full set of tan cloth seats. i prefer power front drivers, but if not, still contact me and i will decide and possibly still do it. im not sure if i want to do a full even trade, or cash on your end being that its leather for cloth. contact me if you have what i'm looking for and we will go from there and work a deal.

next is a 99 f250 superduty, i have 2 tan vinyl bucket seats (not power), in overall good shape, the foam padding isn't badly worn from sliding in and out of the truck, etc. couple tiny holes here and there. the 2 pics on this listing are of these f250 seats. im looking for 2 of the same buckets, but in cloth. prefer gray as the interior is gray, but tan will do, as i only use it for a beater work truck, so i don't care about the color to be honest. i just HATE getting in sweaty after working outside, and sticking to leather/vinyl seats. im one of those people that just prefers cloth seating.

so a few updates on the X.

im starting to drive it more (probably 50/50 throughout the week between the X and my scion xB), and i made the decision to do so because i WAS going to give the scion to my dad (its sorta half his half mine) and get myself an 04-08 f150 to daily, which will also be practical because i'm always needing a truck, and i use the scion as a truck pretty much. i never wanted to haul stuff with the X because i didn't want to dirty/scratch it etc. well i decided that down the road ill get myself a super clean diesel excursion, so for now im going to just use my X, not beat it up (like my dad uses his for work loaded down with tools), but im not gonna be afraid to haul stuff with it, if it gets a ding here and there, etc.

so i got new tires on it (stock size for now) and i took the tv and stuff out of the back. what i was thinking when i built that, i have no idea. lol. i peeled the black plastidip off the front bumper and grille (except the honeycomb part of the grille), not sure yet if im gonna leave it chrome, or paint it. Im messing around in photoshop, i think i may paint the grille and bumper estate green to match, as well as the back bumper also, but leave the tan plastics on the front and rear bumpers tan. tails i think im going to leave tinted black with the white reverse lights showing, and the headlights im currently trying to decide which i like best before ordering. thinking 1 piece lights in clear, but not sure if i want black housing ones or not. anyone have any luck with the ebay "projector" ones? with my tint, i want to get HID's, and projectors would be a lot better than just regular headlamps with HIDs in them scattering light all over the place and blinding on coming cars.

i think that's about it for now, i will start updating this thread again as i do stuff. as the above post states, i am trying to find someone to trade seats with, i prefer cloth over leather any time of the day!

Glad this one got bumped, because I haven't seen this thread before.

I have an 00 Limited in green, and was wondering what it would look like without the cladding (mine had a small underhood fire and the driver side fender cladding melted a little in the center). Now after seeing page 1 of your thread, I have a conclusive look at how mine would look without the cladding. I also have what I call "car show pin-striping" on mine- where freehand pin-striping was added at some point. I have to figure out how to get rid of that as well.

So... you're undoing some of the mods?

i checked out your thread. nice rebuild you got going on there!

yea i actually like both the cladding on as well as removed. i removed the plastidip because as i looked at it, i though it made the truck look cheap, so i just peeled it off. now im trying to decide if i should leave the chrome, or paint match it estate green.

and yea the rear seat thing i did, i donno why i did that but i removed it. im going to build a new stereo wall behind the 2nd row, but not all the way back, leaving me some cargo room still to put stuff.

i may actually bedliner the whole truck, that was the original plan, OD army green bedliner (Monstaliner is the actual product name), so i may still do that. considering plastidipping the wheels black and leaving the center caps chrome, as 809taino did to his. see, i like the black front end on his, maybe it's because his is more of a satin, not a complete flat like the plastidip was. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-edition.html

also, my headlights kill the front end IMO. i hate them. i saw a post the other day on here, a guy said he could hold a candle out the window and get better light than the stock fluted, faded headlights. that's almost true lol.

so im still searching ebay for some lights. i look up pics of black housing headlights and like them, but then i look at 809taino's truck with the clear ones, and i like that too. i like how his truck has hints of chrome, but mostly a blacked out theme. i wish i had like 5 excursions to do all these different combinations to LOL.

i wanted to do an 05 front end, but i think im going to leave the stock bumper and grille and just get new headlights. last night i thought about maybe putting the grille from my beater f250 on if i go with the blacked out look, has a different style to it, but if i stay with chrome, ill leave my stock grille.

Part of me likes the old school looking clear corners. I have a set of these headlights with the stock corners (mostly clear but the small amber reflector in them) so tomorrow i may put them on at least to update the look for now.

i see this one around a lot and it gave me a better idea of what somewhat newer looking headlights would look like with the chrome front end. i think im going to leave the chrome grille and bumper and just update the headlights with chrome housed lights and call it a day.

So i don't think these are correct....they just came in and they look like they definitely do not fit. Are they the wrong part or maybe for an explorer or expedition?
