Honestly, my first thought with all of your arrangements was that there would be NO leg room in the rear seats at all, but then I saw where you were even talking about filling the gap in and making a huge lounge area. You could probably make it LOOK really cool. I can't imagine anyone riding back there though. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Ya at first I'm like wait theres no leg room. Then I decided to make it more like a bed haha. I'm planning on adding more stuff, possibly even a large tv.

the dual seats has potential. I'd mount them on a sub-frame that lifted them 8-10". not liking hte thought of a bed.

with a sub-frame, you could build drawers into it and still have stowage space.

how many people you intend to carry around?

I do like the idea of the drawers. I think I will incorporate that.

look at truck bed gun lockers. they are basically what you will want for those seat sub-frames. there are some nifty ways to set them up

That idea with the built-up middle making it a playpen is pretty good. ****-tastic even. Was also thinking you couod hang out back there if you do any tailgating at sporting events.
Good luck with that. I like all the pictures you take, you do a nice job with that.

What ever possessed you to remove the tan trim pieces from your Eddie Bauer? Just curious. Beautiful Ex you have, there.
