Aluminum fittings are fine.

Honestly, I'd get a straight 1/8"NPT x 6AN, the run a 45* 6AN swival. That is what I have and it allowed for me to put the hose fitting in any direction.

With the one you have linked you are at the mercy of the threads in the head.

this

to this

And on further research aluminum line is good to 25psi and the good stuff is 50psi and i'm not paying for braided hose id use flare fittings before i shelled out that kinda money. so what did you use for tubing?

I'd run a 6AN female x 6AN male and have a female fitting on the line.

I'm running rubber fuel injection hose that is rated for diesel with a push lock style fitting. The hose I'm running is rated at 250*, so I put a DEI sleeve on it that is rated for 2000* radiant and 500* direct.

yea i want to avoid rubber hose around the engine that's y i was going to go with flare fittings and run steel line. and the AN fitting are good but the aluminum tube doesn't hold the psi and the braided hose is more expensive then all the fittings are put together. I'm kinda lost on what to do

There is no down side to the rubber line and it is cheaper. Ford uses rubber line in the stock application.

i've decided to use flare fittings and i've found a 1/8" npt to 3/8" flare fitting and i'm going to run steel lines to a flared T fitting then run 3/8" flare to the side of the block then use a rubber jumper to go from the block to the frame then run 3/8" flare to the post filter then go from 3/8" flared to 1/2" npt
