I have a 1971 F250 4WD that has had a 460 swapped into it. Does anyone here have any idea what kind of motor mount setup should be used for this conversion? I have seen some expensive super-duper off road ten times better than factory ones for sale for about $300 or so, but wondered if there was a more conventional route. I have seen that grinnergetter has a 73 converted to a Highboy with a 460, but I'm thinking his frame is different than mine. If anyone else has one similar to mine I would love to have some pictures and info about the motor mounts.
I have a thread in the 460 forum here with pictures, it's got a lot of views but know responses. If you look at the pictures you can see what an ugly job was done and it looks quite unsafe to me.
Thanks for your responses.

I'd have to agree with mark a in his post in the other thread looks like someones fabbed perches up to accept Fe mounts how many bolts are in the rubber mounts is my biggest concern of your setup the rest isn't bad if you feel its unsafe or want a better design there are some places that sell bolt in 460 swap kits
