need motor mounts

I am installing a 460 in my 85 f-250 4x4 and am having trouble finding motor mounts. the lcal parts stores ahve swap kits but at an ungodly price. can any one help me

About the best place I've seen is the bone-yard. If that doesn't work, look through the newspaper and look to see if someone is parting out an F-250 with a 460, you might luck out. Good luck!

Are you swapping one in, or repairing an existing setup? Also, are you referring to the frame mount or the rubber mount?

460 mounts

Stock metal frame brackets for F250 1980-86 are still available from Ford for the 460 motor and rubber motor mounts same also, they will also bolt into F150 chassis. The metal factory brackets for the 85 F250 are E3TZ-6028-C and #E8TZ-6029-B. The two rubber mounts are F7TZ-6038-AA and two special metal brackets for the block are E8TZ-6046-A to hold the rubber mounts.
