Paul had overheating issues because a wiped cam lobe.
My buddy here had overheating issues on his 351m from his turkey pan covering the crossover port.
There are numerous causes for an engine to overheat that have nothing to do with the radiator, fan or water pump but most of them are fuel/timing related.
I simply do not believe that miraculously over night you developed a cooling problem after bolting on that winch with all other components remaining the same or otherwise untouched.

I agree, maybe I just haven't noticed it so much, I haven't really run it much in the heat since the motor rebuild til recently, it may not be an issue that popped up over night, it might not have been noticeable until the heat of summer, though I'll readily admit a rainy 75* isn't exactly hot.
I sure hope it's not a cam lobe! That would really make me ill, Ill investigate it though.
The turkey pan I think doesn't apply because, my 460 doesn't have a turkey pan.
In the mean time, Ill keep searching for the problem and eliminating variables as I go, sooner or later I'm bound to accidentally fix it. I guess this stuff wouldn't be fun if it worked 100% all the time right?
Hmm the guy who built the motor was named Carl but.... No actually his name was Brett nevermind.
It specifically said in my destructions for the intake not to use a valley pan, turkey screen or whatever... Maybe your right, but isn't the oil
Going to shed its heat to the coolant one way or another anyway? I mean shouldn't the oil only affect the front of the intake or maybe the back? I don't know I am only speculating. Maybe I need an oil cooler, lol.
when the engine gets hot, did you try putting a garden hose to the radiator and see if it cools off? this would determine if it is an airflow problem or an engine problem.
if it is an airflow problem, try running a pusher fan.
