Thanks. It was just as much mentally taxing as it was physical. The funny part- My exterior of my eyelids hurt the worst (stupid wind).
had a scary moment on saturday- I was in the back of a 30ish bike pace line running about 22-25 mph in the flats...Watched a lady hit a bubble in the asphalt in the front 1/3 of the line, and launch herself into a tree. tree was 25' down the path. she was off the ground the whole time. She was seperated from the bike, spum 180 degrees, before she hit 2 other trees near the bottom of the ditch (about 10' lower than the trail).
I thought she died. I was quite relieved to see her talking to her friend at the bottom of the ditch. (I was the 2nd bike that stopped.)
major hip contusion, and concussion were the only real injuries (minor scrapes too). Her helmet was broken... thank goodness for
The ride had over 3800 riders (ms150 record), and raised over 3 million dollars.
That would be scary. Kudos to you for taking the time to make sure she was ok.
So I rode my bicycle from Hinkley to White bear lake
Wow that is quite a ride! Glad it was you.

That would throw a scare into a guy. Good job on stopping to see if she was ok.

thanks guys. I ride marshall all of the other MS bike rides in the upper midwest. I do this one for fun, but always stop for medical emergencies. I would hope that someone that knows medical stuff would help if I was ever down. (i'm cpr/fa certified, so I know a lil )
Evening everyone. I just had a good burst of energy. It's the most I've had since Saturday. I'm starting to pay for it now though. I got the clothesline tightened up finally. It was sagging pretty low. Katie will probably tell me it's too high now.
Got a little bit of cleaning done in the garage. That may have done me in.
