And the soil up there is mostly granite and other rock so very little soaks in anyway so runoff is a huge issue even on a normal rain.

Good morning yall.

I know how loud my truck was with out a muffler and cat and 5" cat back exhaust and that K&N CAI. I like it now with the stock intake and the 5" muffler. It sounds good but it is quiet when towing. I could not even get my EGT's to go over 1200 deg on a 12% grade for 15 miles. I thought it was a big problem?

Hey Lee. You could let the exhaust drown out the kids on those long trips though...

That is right and all the area around Duluth flow into it headed for the lake.

Good morning Lee! Oh my truck is loud but I don't mind it as of now. You were just to use to that quiet V10 of yours.

As long as tuning is good and everything else is right then egt's shouldn't be an issue. I always pull my camper in the 120 race tune and unless I am hitting a big hill or lugging it to much the egt's are never an issue.

I took it easy on mine. I pulled mostly in unlimited tow which is stock with changed shift points. From Mitchell SD to home I tired 8,000 lbs max tow tune which is 60 hp over stock. I liked it and better mpg but I weight about 9500 lbs. Matt at gear heads said I can tow up to 10,000 lbs with that tune if I am smart about it. If I have head studs then 13,000 lbs. The SRL tune is 160 hp over stock, I will not try that one towing but empty it is great.

I made some poor zoomer Civic in Yellowstone look stupid when he was riding my bumper and tried to pass going up a 10% grade at 9000 ft. I let him get up to my door then punched it, he was already standing on it. I left him behind very quickly and he did not rode my bumper anymore. He had alot of performance stickers on the car so I thought they made it really fast.

that'd work, depending on how thae ramp folded in and the heighth of the interior of the trailer. I want to be able to clear XL frames, incase I decide to pull someone else's bicycle to Las Vegas.
