I'm glad so many like the lessons and want to keep them.
If you do copy it and print it for personal use only, that's fine with me, but please do not distribute it. I would like it if you would add a by line and copyright 2012 C. Frank to it.
I may expand it into a book with more illustrations in the future, especially if I get a subject truck to work on. My truck is rust free and I've done all the major body work I plan on doing on it already so I can't use it for a subject for photos.
I also am playing around with the idea of doing a metal shaping and finishing companion tutorial on here.

Okay, I'll add the copyright notice to my copy and won't send it out to anyone.
Thanks again for putting this together. I'd give you more reps, but it won't let me til I "pass it around" some more.
Any body able to tell me how to print and/or save the lessons without all the comments?
Most of the comments are very good but would end up printing about 45 pages and have to sift through for the lessons.

Thanks again Ax, I might learn to weld yet.
See the post number in the upper right corner? (next to "permalink") Click on that and it will display the single post. You can print it from there.
Nothing stays on the front pages very long on FTE. The curse of being a great forum. Other "brands" that I have and try to keep up with on forums are good to get answered/posted to once a week.
One way to make a compiled copy of the lessons is to open a new document in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, or even Notepad (comes with Windows. If you don't have a full word processing program, you may want to google and download Lotus Symphony a free full featured word processing and presentation program offered by IBM.)
Open this topic in another window. Find the first lesson and highlight the text (click in front of the first word, hold down the shift key and click after the last word). Now release the shift key and copy the highlighted text (control c, hold down the control key, tap the letter c key and release).
Go to the new document, click in the body of the page, and paste the copied text (control v, hold down the control key and tap the letter v key and release. The copied text should appear on the page, it may take a few seconds depending on the speed of your computer and the amount of text.
Now go back to this topic and find lesson 2. Repeat the highlight, copy steps. Go to the document, click after the first lesson, and paste the new copied text after the first lesson.
Repeat for each lesson until you have all of them in your document. Now save it with a name of your choice (click file menu, save. It will ask for a name to save it to.)
Now load up your printer with paper and print your document.
