Sorry guys. The new job, and the family has been taking up most of my time. I'm not going to be able to devote a weekend to doing a meet up, so it'll have to be local and an evening. I can do Monday or Tuesday Next week, or Monday of the following week. So I'm thinking of going back to the Redneck BBQ lab. On the way out, we could swing by Dave's and see the glorious red truck that is coming together out there.
So tempted to bring the truck up, but haven't tested it on a long haul yet, most has been just around town inside 20 miles, but it's purrin for the most part. Only issue seems to be warm starting. Anybody got tow straps?
I think I'm gonna bring the 55 Chevy out, I've been giving her some road time recently, and I don't think many of you have ever checked it out because usually if I drive an old car, it would be my 66 Mustang.
Sorry if I mess up the plan of stopping by to check out the truck, it was close enough I could have joined up but I was on vacation.
Took a trip to FL to meet up with my son, his girl friend and my grandson for his first birthday.
We went to Disney and had a great time, little guy got the flu the next morning, what a way to end a good time.

Sorry to hear he came down with the flu, I hope he's ok now. We'll have to get together at some point, check out your truck in person. During dinner Josh was trying to explain where you lived, and I think he said you were the one with the AMC in the yard? Do you know my buddy Tim, he lives in that neighborhood to the left, has a burgundy Pontiac (1965-ish). Before that had a red 69 Firebird. And an old 50's Chevy truck. He's always tinkering (y)
I hear he is doing better but the little bugger I think gave me something.
I don't feel myself and after getting my DD Dodge fixed this morning and the garage open I have not wanted to go out and work.
As for your buddy I have not seen any of the cars or truck you listed and they would stand out too.
I don't think I know him, If he stopped by to say hi I don't remember him.
Weekends are best for me to be around the house doing something.
During the week getting up really early, working out in the heat if I do get home early I don't feel up to working on the truck.
