I've always just cut the hose fittings off and welded a tack on them and called it done. Pulling them out, threading them and plugging them sounds like a better idea though. Welding them is just faster. LOL
I got to pick my truck up from my welder buddy tomorrow I will just have him fill them real fast. While I was on vacation he boxed in the lower part of my stacks with diamond plate and made me a gauge pod that is goin where my ashtray used to be.( since the thing blew into pieces while pushing the lighter back into it). And put my underbody tool boxes back on. I will post up some pics later. Oh ya and my brother is building me stack covers and he can cut anything I want into them. Hmmm what to have him write down the sides of them things. He is the head computer/welder guy in the shop so it's free. Ha ha. I am covering the stacks since my 2 100lb labs ride up there alot. Hoping to get the intercooler on this weekend, possibly the quick spool too!!

I cut fittings, put some plugs, resurfaced them and then JB weld
Do I need a different clamp that goes from the y pipe to the turbo. I was just looking at it and it seem a little off. The old y pipe has a very thin flange and the e99 is pretty thick?
Someone else will have to weigh in on this because this listing Riffraff Diesel: Ford Turbo Outlet V-Band Clamp 94.5-Early 99 says for 94.5-E99 but others have said that it is different on the E99 than the earlier ones. I haven't had the chance to confirm which is needed.
The old one seemed to fit because the turbo actually goes inside the y pipe. If that makes any sense? But I was tightening it and it broke so I am stuck. Oh well gives me time to put the quick spool on. I just got to get bolts and weld some brackets for
The lower mounts of the IC. Then she is done. Besides the reassemble. Should have it completed next weeekend. Ccv mod quick spool and IC.
