I went for the 7.3 all aluminum, no plastic tanks, less modding.

I don't really think there is less modding with the 7.3 cooler. All I had to do to mount my 6.0 was build mounts and cut the holes for the pipes. 6.0 cooler will cool a little better as it is bigger.

200 bucks is a little high, I bought mine for 125 on ebay cause he was charging that much. Like I said I got the pipes from him, just got one extra one to cut up and use to make 2 out of 3. Be careful though if you get pipes, I ended up with one aluminum one and 2 steel ones...

I got my 2005 6.0 intercooler off cl for a hundred and the guy said he would give me the pipes for $20 so I did, not knowing they really wouldn't do me much good, then $85 for spider. Still need pipes that will work.

Which IC is easier to mount. The one with the plastic ends or the metal ends? It looks like te one with the metal ends, the lower mounts just rest on a bracket. Are the plastics end IC the same?

e-mail if you're interested in custom pipes that are made to fit, there was a post with pics a month or so ago. They really looked nice and the price was 200 to your door.
