I really do not like the idea of taxing off road vehicles
to the point that I refused to pay such tax and sold both my quads
We are having hard enough time with the way things are but you bet
your town, city and state will get the money they want.
How do you ballance your check book ?
do you figure out what you SHOULD make next year and spend it this year ?
thats how the GOV does it , then when they find they are upside down with budget
they cry and say they need more money to operate and raise the sales tax ???????????
now when everything settles down do you think the tax will drop back ??? pffff

Nice lookin horses. I miss riding & working with horses. I tried to do some natural trimming but my body won't take it anymore. I'm afraid if I got thrown or fell off I might end up a complete cripple.
That series was 20 years ago. It wasn't a big series. It hit more of the smaller towns. Wendover NV was one of the big events because of the casino's there. If I remember it followed kind of the same venues as triple A horse racing did.
I do ride motorcycles. But I have a need for speed every so often.
How long since you were living in Las Vegas? It is holding its own. I get there quite a bit. It is still growing. I had not been below Durango on Hwy 160 for maybe 4 years & I couldn't believe it. Trying to figure out how the get on & off the I-15 is a daily chore. They keep changing the ramps by the week it seems. Lot of construction on the I-15.

Hey Bill. Where are the fires? I heard there were serious fires in Arizona but that was all. Of course I never watch the news on TV here I hate the Reno TV. I plan to get my local channels changed to Phoenix stations when we get to Bullhead City. That way I can stay up on events in Arizona regularly.

the fires are up in crown king
depending on the wind Phx or Prescott gets the smoke.
we are a hour and a half north of phx and you can see the skome and/or fore from either side.
I offered my land to anyone with livestock that might need a place to keep hem and trailers.
Mayer is on standbye to be evacuated at any time.
the wind has been a problem and friday morning the firefighters lost the 5% controle they had so as of now tthe fire is 100% uncontrolled
