Howdy y'all. Good saturday to everyone. Yeah on mon. we were up in way north snottsdale cleaning pools on roads I never even heard of before, and the sky was hazy from the smoke, and it smelled like a fire.
Good Sunday morning fellas. Been stuck at work almost everyday cause 2 more of our guys quit. So now I've been here longer then everyone even the manager now and its only been 4 months lol. It crazy!
Wow Mayer is close to evacuation? Not Good. Bart's up there in Chino Valley.
Just got home from a great weekend in Las Vegas. It was about 100 degrees just perfect.
We stayed at the La Quinta Inn on Paradise off Flamingo. Nice motel, great pool & spa complete with nice lookin ladies. My Service dog Tommy is a chick magnet. The wife & I got on the shuttle from the motel to go to dinner on the Strip since we had not been on the Strip for several years. Locals seldom hang out on the Strip unless they have people from out of town visiting. My wife didn't even get on the shuttle before a 30s something blonde from Little Rock was sitting next to me holding on to Tommy. She had met him @ the pool. So I'm glad my wife isn't the jealous kind. I have to say she was hot. But I wouldn't of been in shape for a 30 something. It heck sometime being an old man. I love Las Vegas it is so friendly everyone is from someplace else.
Anyway, Had a burger @ KGB in Harrahs. It was all about the experience. I have had better burgers for much less money but it was a fun place & the food was good. We met so many great people & it all starts with my dog.
For those of you that know me. My back & legs are giving out on me. Surgery is not an option, so instead of a cane the doctors have prescribed I can use a Service Dog to balance & help me up, etc. If you remember I got Tommy a yellow field Lab about two years ago. When we went to Yuma he & I got involved with "Love on a Leach" we went into care centers, he went into the schools. Our chapter leader in Yuma was a professional trainer & she helped me get Tommy trained as a Service Dog for my use.
