Nice horses monsson. Do you know what kinda saddle that is on the horse in the 6 th pic? It looks like a darn I can't rember the name of that saddle. Usually I am good with naming horse tack. By the way the guy in the first pic with the sweat shirt looks like Chris cagle or even Garth Brooks.
Matt I have no idea then and I agree coming from a truck doesn't sound right.

Trav, I know man. I have been trying to get my mechanic to give it a tune up for the past year. He keeps telling me he will do it if I want to throw away the money, but it doesn't need it. I know the Qjet carb could use a rebuild though.
Monsoon is that bike I love the look of that bike. We use to have a 2009 Harley Davidson Fat bob FXDF but we lost it in the house fire. The bike before was a 2009 Harley Davidson FXDC Super glide cutsom. Man I am drooling over that harley I am a sucker for Harleys and so many people say I am an idiot for riding one. Here is a pic of the FXDC got nopics of the FXDF.
By the way are you running a 96 cubic inch engine or did you upgrade it. It has the 5 speed right? Ours had 6 speed 96 cubic inchers.

Good luck finding parts for a quadja junk. We had one on our 1985 Chevy g20 sportvan and the carb shop said they discontued parts for it. Instead they put on a carb for a 454 and we have a 305 since then we have had bad gas milage big time.

Qjunk? I have heard they are good carbs, and get better gas mileage than the edles and the holleys.
Not according to my dad they always go out on Chevys. My dad hates carburated Chevys the only he has this one is he bought it needing a van for work so this what he could afford and we don't sell it because we have put to much money into it. We have owned tons of throttle body or what ever they are called chevy vans and they are way more reliable.

Well, yah. almost any TBI or any non carb engine is more reliable, due to it being electronic, and not carbed. Way less touchy. That doesn't really mean that the Qjets are junk though. I know tons of people that drive the 70s era pickups, fords too, and they all have q jets on them. Some even took of the edel to put a qj back on for better gas mileage. There are also a lot of people with electronic ignition that have issues as well.
My buddy just bought a FatBoy, not sure of the year, but its pretty sweet!
Well I don't know most of our trucks are efi. The only carbed trucks are the Chevy van and Bronco 2 and i usually don't touch those two without my dad which is where he takes over.
