Thats right Trav, there may be up to 4 O2 sensors on it so you wanna find out which one too, clear the codes & see if they come back.........

Whats wierd it the 02 sensor is for fuel air ratio isn't it. Well the truck is driving fine and getting good gas milage. I mean I had the truck at 45 yesterday down the back road and it ran great no stutters or anything. You would think that it would run funny or it would get really bad gas milage. So could it be the codes weren't cleared so the check engine light is coming on still or what?

(by the way I always drive like a maniac down the back roads so does my dad so I guess I just inherited it.)

Ya clear the codes after you write them down to keep track of them & then drive it as usual, the engine code reader is only a 100 bucks so you may as well buy one, it pays for itself real fast......

Well did a little work yesterday. Hoping to get some primer on the hood and fenders today or tomorrow. Have a pool party today at 2 so we will see if I do anything.

thanks gigger we will have a mechanic pull the codes and then see what happens. We are trying to get a code reader but don't have the money right now.

Ok cool I might have a mechanic do it for now. I know a guy who will pull the codes for free so maybe he will wipe it out.
