I'm not surprised. She wanted her truck fixed, and that's what they did. Now if she goes back and says something like, I wish it had more power, then all bets are off. We all know what path that leads you down.
Thanks for the update, it's appreciated! Everything on that list would rob you of significant power and fuel economy. You have a whole different truck now.
Im glad it seems to have worked out for you. Now if you think your truck runs great now. multiply that by 10 with the installation of a exhaust, a 6637 air filter and a tuner.. You'll be pulling up the hill at 40 mph just in first gear..
After i did my exhaust, air and tuner. I was like everyone on here and said WOW !!
I use to pull my trailer 10,000 bls up the grapevine at 50 mph. Now it's 70 mph and i have to back out of it..
It all can be done for just under grand.. and is an investment well worth it on our trucks.
You may only gain a mile or two per gallon, But the power increase is well worth it
Bonnie - glad you've got it sorted. You're definitely at one of the top shops in the country and I'd be surprised if it's not 100% resolve after their first try, but if not, they will get it done.
There are some mods that will wake up your truck and make it pull much better, and can even get you better fuel mileage (if you keep your foot out of it) while having more fun.
Be warned though: We're mod-junkies on here!!! That being said, you'll also find that this is one of the most helpful groups of people you could ever stumble across. You'd be amazed at the generosity of members on this forum.
