Got home late last night from a weekend at the Greater Yosemite Council’s Camp McConnell in Livingston CA (Home of Foster Farms).
Typical NorCal weekend, days in the 100’s and flow of traffic was Rediculous. EOT/ETC Deltas stayed consistently at 4*F but, ECT was hanging between 232* and 238* depending on speed and when the EOT hit 242* I got a Ford dash warning. We got to listen to the Fan the WHOLE trip
on the Return leg, we got a flat and the boy got a chance to apply his ROP Autoshop lessons on the side of Hwy 99.
I had that happen in Idaho on 84 I believe, middle of no where. An 18 wheeled fell a sleep and hit the back of my 5th wheel and totaled it and move my whole truck and trailer 25 feet forward. We were lucky he only caught about 18 inches or more of the trailer and side of the truck. Wife got hurt and knocked out when a piece came threw the back window and hit her in the head. Know off ramps close to where we were so I pulled way over and worked in the dirt.
Still working every weekend on the house in Germany, and moved everything out of the flat into the house last weekend. During this time 4000 hrs came up at 269k km or 167k miles. That's averaging over 41mph.
Now it's waiting for the German inspection (TuV) - needs a load of welding and I hope it's ready in time so I can pick the wife's 60th birthday present up before the party...
I just drove home and the gauge cluster doesn't have any light on, other than the mileage, which probably is the LED light, not backlight. All the gauges are working, just no light. I don't know if it's a fuse, the instrument cluster, light bulb inside the cluster or it's the dim switch got loose. I think it's the dim switch, but I am not sure. What do you think?

Any of the backlighting for HVAC controls working? Or is it just the cluster backlighting?
I’m in the middle of back flushing my oil cooler. Back flush adapter is installed and 32oz of thermoscure has been soaking in the oils cooler for 4 hours. I have a slight coolant leak so I’ll change the original orange EGR hose out with the new blue one before I fill with new Rotela ELC coolant.
sure wasnt. Left me and my fiance' on the side of the road. And was almost late for work.

was going into work yesterday morning and it just died. Know its something on the driverside. Went from cruising fine to feeling like i was pulling a fully loaded big rig behind it. Struggling to get up small hills that should never bother it. To Then dead.
Trying to climb the next hill when i killed the cruise. Passenger side temps jumped up to 1200° driver side temp i first saw at 600* at the same time and falling like a rock to the point where I was doing 200 degrees. While waiting for a ride to get to work i took a peek under the hood to find oil all over the driver side exhaust manifold which was burning off when i opened the hood.
my current guess is somethings happened to the oil rail on that side but wont know till i can tear into it. (Which didnt happen at the best time either)
