Hypermax Maxchip
What are your experiances with Hypermax's Switchable Maxchip and the 300 and 330 chips.
I am mostly looking for better mpg and improved pep. I do not need a smoke, extreme or heavy tow setting (I do like an ocassional romp on the peddle, but fuel costs to much to rod around). I need the switchable instead of a chip because of a young driver (return to stock setting) and the truck is mostly used as a car. Any towing is limited and under #9,000. The few people that I have found have said good things.

How much are those things, aren't they like $500? I have no personal experience with them so I will just add what is pretty common. I would go with a Riffraff Diesel: DP Tuner F5 Chip Module or standard TS style chip from your choice of tuners i.e. PHP - Phoenix™ Chip, Tyrant Diesel, Gearhead Automotive Performance, amongst others.
