Hope so! I never done it myself so just going from what I have read. So it just cracked across the top? If it didn't hurt the pump then that won't be so bad.
.
It cracked on the opposite side I had all the bolts in - go figure. from the passenger top bolt to an inch from the starter.
Everything's together now, looks good. Have to make one more parts run for a few misplaced bolts. All that's left to do is pluming and wiring. Hope to crank it around noon.
Wow that is an amazing build. I want to do a build like this to a 460 then put it in a nice f150 or f250 from down south and completley rebuild the truck itself too.
I dont know much about these at all and will be having the engine done by a buddy of mine who rebuilds alot of engines. When you get the chance could you make a list of all of the parts you replaced/modified and what the manufacture and model is please ? (if you don't mind)
Thanks and can't wait to see the video !
I reckon I'm missing a spacer between my driver-side head and power steering pump bracket. Any of yall know the measurement of this spacer so I can make one? I included a picture on Photobucket.
After 15 minutes of firing and running for only a few moments, I walked away and let it sit. Came back in half an hour and third try run right up to 1500. Reset to 2500 and got the camera. Ran so smooth. Can't wait to drive it now.
Run out of money for headers... poor excuse, but I'm also gonna wait to rerout the exhaust once I stall my future ZF. I'm gonna load them up on photobucket... It takes so long, I don't know if youtube would be any faster.
Loaded up two videos, one break in and the other backed down to idle. Still need to set base timing and mess with the mechanical springs and stop bushing.
