Alternator Wiring Harness 73 F-100

Hope you guys can help me. My father has had his 1973 Ford F100 since 1973 buying it new. I am trying to help him (due to his age to get it up in better shape). He had taken his alternator off and went and swapped it for a new one and when he came back home he couldn't remember how the wiring was hooked up. I was wondering if someone could take a look and advise me which goes where? I have attached the photos of the harness and also the back of the new alternator.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Truck details
1973 F100, 390 (6.4) 2bbl

Here's my '73 F100 w/ 360 The heavy black wire goes to the "BAT" terminal, the white w/ black stripe goes to the "STA" terminal and the orange goes to the "FLD" term.
BTW, welcome to FTE. Lots of good, knowledgeable people here.

Also, be sure to hook the strain relief back up (that's the rubber block with the metal tab). The harness grounds through that metal tab.

I know this is a old post, but I did a search and this is close to what I need.

Just changed the alternator out out in my truck (73 F100 FE). My wires were toast, replacement is days away and larger than my budget. So I used heatshrink ring connectors to replace it. However the white wire was dead ended. I know where it goes on the Alternator, but where does the other end go? I didnít cut that one. It had a female spade connector on it. It was loose and I donít see the male end to plug in to. My first go to was the voltage regulator, itís wiring is intact and the harness is still wrapped.

Thanks for any help.

its for the electric choke on my 79. a little 2 pronged rubber 'weather tight' connector up by the blower motor connector. not sure if 73's had electric choke though.
