Ok, I got my truck checked at Ford and they say that I have #1 injector that is causing the stiction problem I have been experiencing. My question is, since I have a 2006 with 121K on the odo and have some stiction issues already, should I just replace the #1 or should I just do the four in that bank, or send all four to Warren Injectors to be gone thru? If it had been the easier side I would just do the one, but seeing as the passenger side is the PITA of the two, and I dont really want to do it more than once, what would you guys suggest.
When I was faced with the same decision, I did all four. Hoping that the labor would be a one time thing for a good long time. You're looking at an extra $750 if you get a good price on the injectors. But that's just an opinion, and if it had been a different day, I might have chosen differently.
But one think I am firm on, is nothing but Ford reman injectors.
IMO both sides are almost equally easy to change injectors, I can remove the passenger valve cover without taking out the inner fenderwell/splash shield,
if it was me I would just change the suspected one
I'm fairly firm on the Ford remans too, after having 2 bad ones out of 8 buying them from a rebuilder. Unless you REALLY trust Warren injectors, I would go to your friendly Ford dealer, let them bend you over on the price and walk away knowing you have the BEST remans you can get.

I agree you can change the passenger without removing inner fender. It takes me little over two hours without air tools and taking my time good luck

I have to totally agree with John here. Buying Ford remans is as close to "brand new" as you can get. If you send your injectors to have them "rebuilt" you're still getting the same injector with the same parts back (except for o-rings and MAYBE nozzles).
Couldn't he get the tousley ford fte discount on those injector's? That might help a little...
Depending on if he does it himself or has it done somewhere. Another dealership wants to install parts from their own stock in order for their warranty to apply to their work even if it is Motorcraft.
I wonder what the FTE discount would make Motorcraft injectors from Tousley cost. Does anyone know?
