which injectors?

Seems like anything not motorcraft on these trucks is bad news.
Does the same theory apply to the injectors?
Are the aftermarket injectors worth the savings?

I would either go with the ford remans or FullForce injectors.

lots of poeple on other forums trying the Warren injectors and so far I have not seen many failures discussed with theirs (there are MANY aftermarket injector companies that have a SIGNIFICANTLY high failure rate). Still - I do not believe that the Warren re-builds are as "extensively gone through" and tested like the Ford remans and a good injector should last 250k miles minimum - so it is hard to get reliability data on injector rebuilds that have been offered for only a few years.

The FullForce injectors will not be cheaper, but they are good! This is the way to go if you are going bigger IMO.

Most cheap injectors are just that - cheap! IMO you get what you pay for.

Don't even get me started...
DO NOT BUY CHEAP INJECTORS or you will be on here just like me telling everybody how you will never do it again. Just a brief summary...
2 were no good and had to be replaced, the rest all had their top o-rings erode and wash out in less than a year. If I hadn't been able to find o-rings, and had taken my truck to my dealer, it would have been a $5000 bill to replace all of them again since Ford doesn't service the top o-ring.

Is a regulated return kit required with the 155cc Fullforce injectors? How about an Air Dog?

Get a fuel pressure gauge before spending all that coin on injectors. If you drop below 50 psi, you need more fuel pump.

I'm right at 50 psi. I'm not sure about when I smash the throttle down. I'll have to check into that.

If you are sitting at 50 psi at idle I would be checking that pressure at WOT ASAP. Myself, I wouldn't want to see it get below 48 psi.... Do the blue spring mod and it should fix you up. If you have the mod already and you have your pressure that low then you have other issues to worry about!

With the blue spring mod in my truck (with factory fuel delivery system) the fuel pressure stays at about 64 psi at idle and seldom drops below 60 psi at WOT.

Low Fuel Pressure = Injector failure = Big $$$ To Fix!
