Good morning everyone! Yesterday pretty much sucked at work. Got home and had success with the truck and hit got oil changed in the car and van.
Decided to do some follow up for work and ended up continuing the ****ty *** day. Ended up going to bed at 1:45am.
I hope today goes better or I'm taking the day off.
Good morning Michael! Glad to hear you got the truck running! So by changing oil in the car do you mean just adding oil? As much as that car goes through I would just change the filter! LOL

Chris, that sucks to hear about your truck. hopefully it'll get sorted out quickly and inexpensively.
Michael, that's no fun but congrats on getting the truck running. When's the trans rebuild party?
I made some progress on my truck yesterday. pretty much finished the exhaust. got the gas tank straps loose, then realized that there was an extra cross member welded to the frame to mount an old hitch too....
So now in order to replace the gas tank, I need to remove the box. So I'm unloading the plow that's in the box right now, took out the toolboxes. Ugh.
I'm going to order a poly tank, so I won't have to worry about the tank rusting again. While the box is off, I'm also going to give it new fuel lines (currently leaking).
Then it'll be time to start collecting new brake parts. front calipers aren't working correctly, and going to do a rear disc brake swap also.
I'm debating on whether or not to replace the Front rotors, as well as the master cyl and brake booster. My thought is, since I've just replaced 95% of the brake lines, if I just bite the bullet on the rotors/master/booster, I'll have a 100% new brake system.
