Going good. No snow in the valleys. A little higher up but not much. A lot of clubs are closing trails for the season. A month before the season officially ends. 100% different from last year. April 15 2011 I rode from my house on the last legal day. And a week layer I trailered 5 miles up to higher elevation and rode a little more. Saving money not buying gas

At least you got to ride from home this year. Our trails never opened here. Trail "closing" is March 31st, removing signs and such.
So different from last year, we were still able to ride this time last year.
Good Evening everyone!! Haven't read the posts yet, but I imagine most have gone to bed already.
Finally got to bed around 1:45am. Got up at 6am and dealt with fallout from last night's issues all day. A co-worker is still working on it. @#$@#%!#$%!$% computers.
Just got home from yet another marathon church meeting. Good meeting though.
Too tired to deal with the car tonight. I need to change the oil again (it was really thin and dirty) and try some fix-in-a-can and see if we can't get it limped along.

How is everyone else?
Hi Michael.
Sounds like you have had a few long days.
Isn't the oil self changing in the fantastic, plastic POS??
Darwin hasn't caught up to them yet. He's been a bit busy lately.

Awesome picture Jake!!! That looks like it was fun (as long as it was sleeping).
Awesome pics Chris!! Bet you wish you were still there instead of dealing with work issues.

With all the oil it's gone through, you'd think I wouldn't have to worry about it. Katie went through 3 1/2 quarts in two days. Got back Monday and it was as black as if she had never changed it. Thin as water too. Something is bad internally.

Oh yeah, Michael! The little guy probably wouldn't have been too happy if he wasn't drugged!

Thanks Tom! That was the start of my spring break. A small group of students got to accompany some U of M researchers as they did their annual March den checks of radio collared bear. The one den I got to tag along with had a mother and two yearling cubs. The guy I was holding was a male cub from last winter weighing in at about 45 pounds. Pretty cool experience and as you can see there was a little bit of hands on learning too! We were near Grand Rapids.
