My parents from Pennsylvania are going to be here tomorrow. Other than that just more clean up and putting things away. Might actually get my shelves finished.
Sorry Tom, but the fish fry tonight was great! Hope I didn't cause any deaths in your fish family. Congrats on your signature! I like your picture a lot!
Well I decided to call air lift and ask them what size tank the compressor could handle. Good thing I did, you cannot use a tank with the wireless system. I then called truck springs.com and asked the same. He also said that. So I am returning the wireless and getting a dual gauge setup with a tank that will be here wed or thur next week. Lesson learned....
If you have any questions in the future, we are also available through the forum. Slightly longer response than a simple phone call, but I can help if you come across anything.
To answer your original question though, there isn't too much difference as far as holding air is concerned between steel and aluminum. I've always ran steel, but that's mostly due to lower costs. However, an aluminum tank would be cheaper to ship.
If it came to some form of an accident though, the steel would probably have a better chance of just denting versus the aluminum potentially ripping.
The first time I read this, I figured the Dodge WAS the pile of rust.

Sounds easy to me. Turn the truck on and back up towards a trash can or something like that.

I told you that already Tom. Don't return it. I think I posted an air solenoid a while back. You can make that work.
