IIRC the bed bolts cut threads into the inserts.

Isn't that required with most parts these days? Especially truck and diesel parts.

I believe the bolts cut the threads into the inserts.

Wonder if these would work.

Yeah, they cut threads and lock in when you use them. They actually do that because people were stealing boxes...

Yes, you should...

So, if the take out ones will work, probably go that route then.

What do you want to bet this has or should have a salvage title? Front half and back half are two different colors.

What are you looking to spend?

I mean anything under $3500-$4000 is basically done. You can get service life out of it but that's about it...

A $2,000 car is either half rust, or half in the scrap yard. That's how it is these days. Want a cheap car and have it be decent, then you need to but a car with a bad motor or tranny and fix it. Then you can hit a $2,000 car for about $1,000...

Sorry Chris don't remember you posting anything about an air solenoid. But then again I could have missed it. Already have the number and ordered the new one from an air lift dealer......

Only have about $1,000 to $2,000 to spend unfortunately. Gotta be a cash thing.

I did think about selling the van as well, but I don't want to use the truck as a DD again.

We need it to last a year to two years.
