I mean anything under $3500-$4000 is basically done. You can get service life out of it but that's about it...
A $2,000 car is either half rust, or half in the scrap yard. That's how it is these days. Want a cheap car and have it be decent, then you need to but a car with a bad motor or tranny and fix it. Then you can hit a $2,000 car for about $1,000...
I don't exactly have the best luck with vehicles, so it's hard to find something in this price range that isn't going to put us back where we're at.
If you have any questions in the future, we are also available through the forum. Slightly longer response than a simple phone call, but I can help if you come across anything.
To answer your original question though, there isn't too much difference as far as holding air is concerned between steel and aluminum. I've always ran steel, but that's mostly due to lower costs. However, an aluminum tank would be cheaper to ship.
If it came to some form of an accident though, the steel would probably have a better chance of just denting versus the aluminum potentially ripping.
I did talk thru private messaging under my old screen name(mndiesel got hacked) to either you or someone else on here. The question that I never asked was if I could put a tank on the wireless and since your website doesn't say that you can't I thought it would work. Maybe you could have that added to the description on the wireless systems, just a thought for us assumer's. LOL
I got the right one ordered from one of your dealers so I should be good. Thanks for stopping by though........
Not much, my brother is coming over to help with the cab light covers since he is tall enough to reach them....and an oil change.. Then off to just north of ham lake to get some rev x from a dealer up there....
Sorry Chris don't remember you posting anything about an air solenoid. But then again I could have missed it. Already have the number and ordered the new one from an air lift dealer......
Feel free to use the shop if you want, like I said I'll be out there most of the day working on the Ram.
You need help tomorrow to take that box off, my brother was going to help me and I can just bring it along and do my oil change and lights up there. Let me know....

I won't even give him that much 800-1000 beside he says it needs to go NOW

I am tempted to try the air solenoid myself.
I would be interested in seeing the solenoid setup you are talking about. If I don't head up to Mike's I might take you up on that. Do you have something for the old oil or should I bring a pail?

I'll let you know in the morning.
Getting the box off would be OK, but once it is off I am stuck without bolts to put the other one on. Dropped the ball on that one.......................
