I wouldn't make the switch, but some discussion follows. Looks like the drag race type "Line Lock" is not good for a parking brake, and would not work at all for an e brake.

Most seam not to like the idea! I'm needing it for when I idle for warm up, so would only left for 15 mins, 30 tops?

Electric ones are usually rated for one minute only. Manual ones will hang up on you. While most states require a manual emergency brake, do what you want. Get a couple bricks for wheel chocks.

Back in the late 90's the wreckers I used to drive had a Mico brake locks Lever Lock - Mico® Brake Locks | AW Direct
in them to use while winching. One of the rollbacks I used to drive the parking brake was useless from too many drivers forgetting to release it before driving away so I used to use the Mico lock. The towing manager lived on a hill and I was at his house one night in that flatbed and I parked on the street. About an hour later the neighbor down the street was knocking on his door asking us to retrieve our truck from his front lawn, I had forgotten to also leave it in gear.

A driveshaft parking brake is also doable! A couple guys on here did them up very nice!

I put one of those on a truck a few years ago, it had an electric switch that would sound the horn if the pressure dropped to a certain point, giving you time to get to the truck before it rolled away.
