Good Morning everyone!!

It would have to decide to snow today. We decided to buy a bedroom set off CL last night. It is a nice light oak set with piers on either side of the headboard, dresser, chest of drawers and a bookcase. We got a steal of a deal. I offered the guy $500 (the ad said $600). He was confused and said he had dropped the price to $350. Who am I to argue with a lower price? It's in Minnetonka. Unfortunately, I don't trust my truck to get that far without stranding me. I was going to try to pick it up tonight, but don't really want to if it's going to snow.

Funny thing is last night a wrecker salesmen stopped by trying to sell me a newer one and I said boy did you pick the wrong winter to try that! LOL
He needs to head farther North to get any business. Ya gotta give him credit for still trying though. Someone will probably bite.

Hey Michael! Sounds like a good deal but you don't want it to snow all over the new furniture or get stranded in the truck either.

Hi Michael.

Sounds like a good deal, you offered $500 and he said $350?? OK then, good deal for you.

If you were closer I'd haul it for you.

The guy already pulled the ad from Craigslist, so I hope that means he's being a decent guy. He's leaving tomorrow night for snowmobiling, so my next opportunity will be Monday. I have to borrow the derdge to go get it.

Either my CPS or VSS is going out again. The truck has been randomly dying in town (highway is usually ok). Something is definitely wrong with the VSS, rear diff, or inst cluster. The speedometer bounces a bit (the faster I drive, the more it bounces) and I can't set the cruise without it surging because it can't figure out the speed. I know it's related to the VSS somehow because it started when I put the new one in this summer.

Unfortunately, the tranny may get put on hold again depending on what we need to put into the house we're moving into. We're trying to move sooner than later, so there is alot of momentum to get things done quick. Good news is that whatever we spend will likely come off our rent.

ehh ... it's all just part of having a 250K mile truck that's 17 years old. Alot of it is still left over from this summer. The rear diff and front diff are probably both due for a rebuild. The front one whines like an SOB around 55 if I have it in 4WD.

Yeah that is true with a truck that has that kind of age. Things start to go wrong with it but yet still fixable.

Well I finally got a call for someone going in the ditch. Dang that took till January! WTH!!! LOL Pretty easy to get him out but dang those roads are slick!

Edit: Well maybe not I thought it just needed a tail gate but upon looking closer at the pics it looks like there is rust above the rear wheel.
