I still have the red grill Troy....I put the egg crate back in it b4 I sold it.

No I think that is ok I but from what I remember when it was installed is that it was real close to the tranny heat shield so I am now thinking that is the issue. I will have to get under there and take a look.

Yuck! Had to buy tabs for the truck this morning. Shouldn't they go down in price after all these years instead of up?

Yeah that figures Jay. They should go down as the vehicle gets older I thought. Mine are a little cheaper I thought but mine is a 250 which will make them cheaper I think. Have you got regular plates or Y plates?
