Just wondering what the diffrence is. Eventually I am going to rebuild a spare 7.3 motor that I have laying around, but thought I might start replacing some stuff on the one I am currently running that can be used on the rebuild later.
Well the big difference is price. The T-500 is $349 (going up to $449 Jan 1) and the Adrenaline is $689. Both offer more oil flow for the injectors which is better by all means.
I am sure you can get into debates on mine is better, but for the average guy without running tests on both versions in the same truck it would be hard to tell. The Adrenaline was much cheaper in the beginning, just as the T-500 is now. Once the product is out and the demand climbs so do the prices.
Both companies are proven businesses that respect their customers and provide a stellar service. I just installed a T-500 from Terminator Engineering it seems to be stronger than the stock pump. Both will be better with injectors that need more oil than a stock HPOP. You will feel a difference with stock sticks though, I have.
Pretty much what I thought. Just did not know if one was made to preform better than the other or if they where basically in the same class
thanks guys
With your E99, you will love the improvement from the T500. I have never run an Adrenaline so I can't speak from experience. I do know of at least 2 members on here that have had an Adrenaline in their truck and are now running a T500.
So would one of these be enough to make around 400hp if I decide to keep the spare motor around that number. I was thinking more like 450, but might back it off since it will still be used for a work truck. What is a (good reliable not to hard on the mpg) hp number?? right now I pull a tall 14ft enclosed trailer all the time for what I do, and the computer usually says somewhere between 9.5 and 10 mpg. easily averages around $40 a day in fuel.
thanks again

A lot of that will depend on what injectors and tuning you are using to accomplish those goals. 400 hp should be handled by either one. If you are thinking about 450 or higher, perhaps it's best you wait and look into other options since you're likely talking about needing much more oil at those numbers.

PM Robin (PaysonPSD). His setup is plenty fast. Couldn't tell you and exact HP number but for sure its north of 400. He was running an Adrenaline and now I believe he has a modded 17* or a T500, I'm not sure.

Make that 3...
I had better results from the T500 than I did the Adrenaline. Hence the upgrade...
The T500 did better with my splits and now does even better with my singles.
