Well, the engine light came on and it being late Saturday........I was wondering if there is a tool that can be purchased (most likely) there can be. But is it worth it to just read the problem.
Most auto parts stores will scan your truck for free.
I just thought that instead of driving all the way tot he auto parts store....if I had something, then I could do it. But if the $$$$ does not justify purchasing somehting.......thent he drive will not be all that bad
AutoEnginuity with the Ford bundle can read more codes than most auto parts stores generic OBD2 readers, but it will run you about $340. Not too bad when you consider that would get you just 3-4 code readings at a dealership.
