Negative not 100% sure. Could be 2* or 3* and this is one of those times I wished I had an angle finder :-)

Seems to me that the angle of the input shaft ought to be slightly low if you have softer springs in the back. Adding something like ladder bars makes it more accurate.

The angle should be based on the normal load on the suspension, where it will ride most of the time - so that it is best suited to the expected load on it. That should be the calculated "CENTER"

Thumbs up

Believe I have approx 95% of the vibrations gone but it's been a very long and tedious process. Come to find out the rear angle was approx 2.5* off so I had to "shim" it. I also ended up putting in new blocks on the rear because the ones I had were shot. I wished I had kept them to show you what they looked like. Anyway, I still get a very slight vibration upon take-off , however, the guy that helped me (he specializes in 4x4's and what he does for a living) says that what I'm experiencing now is "normal" with the diesel engines. LOL. I am not used to big trucks and he has tons of experience with them so I'll take his word.

Just thought I'd post up that the truck appears to be riding much smoother on take-off, stopping, and also rolling down the beltway. Matter of fact, it rides incredible going down the beltway at 65/70mph

thanks everyone for your help! I truly appreciate it!

I didn't have to yank the lift off after all. Although the lift is still too much for my taste, it's very expensive to pull it off and purchase all new/stock parts. I have some stock parts and once I get everything I need to go to a reasonable height (stock + leveled or max of 4"), then, I'll switch. Otherwise, I'm good to go for a while! Hell I'll even tow with it like this and shouldn't hurt anything

Cheers,
Tim

LOL I know you didn't and I was trying to prove you wrong. I'm one tenacious dude and never give up. The EASIEST way would have been to yank the lift off, however, as I mentioned I still haven't gotten all the parts to drop it down. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions! BTW, I love my scangauge II!!!!! I have a chip on order and can't wait for that to get here.
