Fallon is doing OK these days...about like most of the rest of the USA things are a little slow economy wise...NAS is slow now too because there are no CAG's till after the first of the year...then back to back CAG's through August if they don't gut the military because of the budget issues. Thanks for your service!

TGIF!....Hope your workday goes by quick & may your weekend be relaxing!
I'll be so glad when this year is over!!! It's gonna be a long weekend for us again, but atleast it'll be fun & rewarding.
I'll probably pull the kids out of school early today so we can volunteer for an hour or so at the Carson City Governors Mansion News 2 Food Drive. Then rush, rush, rush...it's off to the North Pole we go, as the Polar Express will be leaving the train depot at 4pm & should arrive at the North Pole around 4:20 to pick up Santa & be greeted by (us) his Elves. Talk about scrambling! ACK!!!!!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is well, glad to see you've landed somewhere, R1. That must be a huge relief. And nice save Bruce! Only in a Jeep! I hate to admit this out loud, and this may be a loosing battle, but I've taken on the monumental task of finding some shoes for my girlfriend for Christmas. Now, this is not a task to be taken lightly. Women + Shoes = Trouble. But I've man-ed up, and decided to tackle this. Whew, so far I'm getting my a$$ handed to me. But I will conquer the shoe search! I will!

How was your Thanksgiving?
BTW, all you needed to do was ask. We have 2 females here that I'm sure could help you with the shoe thing. LOL! Dress shoe?, Snow boot?, Athletic shoe? Dark colors for Fall/Winter & light colors for Spring/Summer typically. If it's a size thing your not sure of, sneak into the closet when she not looking & check her shoes for a size! Or another idea...take her to like Walmart's shoe dept. & watch to see what catches her eye so you have an idea of what type to get her.

I hope everyone has a good evening and bundles up. We signed the rental/lease agreement for the rental house this morning, so all is good. Get the keys on Monday after the walk through and then I have to start packing crap up and start transferring it over to the new house.

Ugh! Well, today has been an adventure so far. We came home lastnight to find one of our 4 cats with a plastic grocery bag around his neck running around all freaked out because he couldn't figure out how to get it off. Apparently he or one of the other cats freaked out over the bag noise & ran/jumped into the gun cabinet which broke the glass! So now this morning, Jimmy is trying to cut another piece of glass to replace it & he keeps breaking the glass. GRR! Maybe the cutting tool is dull?! So it's off to Home Depot or Lowes we go. Easier to just have them cut one to size for us. What a headache though!
