Yep, cold all day and colder tonight. They say it will go down into the teens tonight but tomorrow it should get above freezing, maybe mid forties.

Had a nice day with friends and neighbors, Lynne's sister stayed the night last night. So it was pretty nice overall.

What a tirering weekend. I don't think any of us wanted to wake up this morning. LOL! Hell, I might go back to bed after the kids leave for school. Not only did we do the Polar Express this weekend, but we went up to Virginia City on Sunday morning & played elves for Christmas On The Comstock. It's so rewarding to see the happiness on these kids faces... I love it!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Yes, we were beyond tired. We're normally in bed by 7:30pm weekdays & 8:30pm on weekends, so considering the last Polar Express Train left the North Pole on Saturday/Sunday nights at about 9pm & we had to be up by 6am to be in Virginia City Sunday & up 5:30am for school Monday....it made for a very tirering weekend.
We made it through though & so long as no one gets sick...I think were good for another round!

What's with this cold **** weather?!

Well, good news! We got approved for the rental house. wooohooo! I feel MUCH better now. Our move in date should be the 12th. We have to be out of our house on the 30th. So, there shouldn't be an issue getting everything moved over in that amount of time. Plus, I was confirmed for my next test on the Las Vegas Fire Dept job on the 19th. So, we'll see how that goes.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted since I know where we are actually moving to now. I feel so much better. Amazing how that will help you mentally.

Any news on your job opportunity, Donna?

@Bruce, ya that's how cold it is here too haha. I was in Reno over the weekend and it was warmer than here, 14 this morning.

Hey Donna did you get your sticker? Just an FYI if you haven't applied for a state job before it can take months after you pass your test to get called for an interview.
